ANNA NICOLE SMITH's companion/lawyer HOWARD K. STERN has lost his battle to block the release of DNA results that could reveal the biological father of the tragic model's baby daughter. Stern, who is named as baby DANNIELYNN's father on her birth certificate, has been challenged for paternity by Anna Nicole's ex-boyfriend LARRY BIRKHEAD, who claims he's the child's real father. The six-month-old's DNA was tested on 21 March (07), but the results have not been revealed. Yesterday (02APR07), a three-judge panel of the Court Of Appeal in the Bahamas, where the paternity battle is taking place, told Stern he filed his challenge too late and should have raised his objections before the Supreme Court ordered the DNA testing.
