Stallone To Face Charges?.


Hollywood star SYLVESTER STALLONE will reportedly be charged in an Australian court today (13MAR07) in relation to his run-in with customs officials last month (FEB07). Stallone had his luggage, private jet and hotel room searched by local authorities in February - banned substances were said to have been taken from the cases of the actor's entourage. The 60-year-old has since claimed the incident was simply a "misunderstanding". Officials have refused to comment on what charges Stallone will face when the case is filed at the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney, but the actor/filmmaker will not be required to attend as long as he is represented by a lawyer. Breaking News: Sylvester Stallone has been charged with illegally importing performance drugs in Sydney, Australia, according to newspaper the Sydney Morning Herald. According to reports, the 60-year-old movie star was caught in possession of vials of a human growth hormone at Sydney Airport last month (FEB07). Customs officials claim they found a total of 48 vials of the steroid in a raid of Stallone's hotel room, limousine and private jet. The Rocky star has been ordered to enter a plea next month (24April07). If found guilty, he faces a large fine.
